About 'Mortal Enchantment' (Mortal Enchantment #1):

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20740634-mortal-enchantmentIn Kalin Matthew's world, elementals control the forces of nature. They are divided into four courts: air, woodland, fire, and water. At sixteen she will leave the life she's built with her mortal mother. Kalin will move to Avalon to rule with her father—the elemental king of the air court. Along the way, she's attacked by a fire court assassin and saved by Rowan, a swoon-worthy elemental with a questionable past.

Worst of all, she learns her father is missing.

To rescue him, Kalin will have to work with a judgmental council and a system of courts too busy accusing each other of deceit to actually be able to help her. But, they aren’t her biggest challenge. With the Midwinter’s Ball only five days away, Kalin must take over her father’s duties, which includes shifting control of the elements—power Kalin has yet to realize.

As Rowan attempts to train her, a war looms between the four courts. If Kalin fails, her father will die and the courts will fall, but the betrayal she’s about to uncover may cost her even more...

This book is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

About 'Fragile Reign' (Mortal Enchantment #2):

It’s been a week since all hell broke loose…

Rumors of King Taron’s weakened powers have left the air court vulnerable. Kalin is desperate to awaken her akasha powers, except she doesn’t know how. Tension within the court is at an all-time high. Pressure is mounting for her to ascend to the throne, but a halfling has never ruled over any court. To solidify her position, the council has advised her to marry Sebastian—a high ranking air elemental she’s never met and her betrothed.

Will Kalin sacrifice her relationship with Rowan to strengthen her court?

Rowan and Marcus return to a fire court in turmoil. Liana’s death has fueled the fire elementals’ distrust against the air and woodland courts. The unbalanced elements have set off natural disasters all over the mortal world. Rowan takes the throne to restore balance, promising to unite the fire court. But not all elementals are happy with his leadership. Many are secretly loyal to Valac, which means Rowan needs to find allies for his cause.
Can Rowan unify the court of fire before the elements destroy the world?

This book is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Guest Post 'The World Of Mortal Enchantment':

When I came up with the idea for ‘Mortal Enchantment’, I knew I wanted a mythological site to host most of the series. I like the idea that elementals can exist in their own secret location within our human world. Some people call that a parallel world. In this case, my parallel world is Avalon.

My version of Avalon is divided up between four territories (what I call courts): woodland, air, fire and water. In the prequel novella, ‘The Shadow Prince’, I introduce mainly the fire court territory which consists of dry lands, sparse trees, and even a volcano. Once you get to ‘Mortal Enchantment’, I explore the mountain ranges and the crystal castle of the air court. The characters have a few scenes in the forests of the woodland court where a host of faerie folk live. There's also two scenes where my heroine, Kalin, travels into the water territory. Both the woodland and water courts are further explored in the third  book in the series, ‘Fragile Reign’.

Of course, everything around them is magical. The veil surrounding Avalon is what hides them from the rest of the us. I've created a beautiful but dangerous world for my characters. I hope I've intrigued you enough that you give it a read. ‘The Shadow Prince’ is free and available everywhere. J

‘The Shadow Prince’ is a 2014 Readers' Favorite Book Award Winner!

Praise for the 'Mortal Enchantment' series:

It packs an unbelievable amount of action, world building, and character development in its short 102 pages. It was a great beginning to this series that had me ready to start the next book right away.

‘Mortal Enchantment’ by Stacey O’Neale is a fantastic story revolving around elemental mythology. It’s a story where readers will be easily captivated by the world created by Stacey O’Neale, and characters that you will definitely want to follow.
- Chapter by Chapter, about ‘Mortal Enchantment’

These characters are just so well written. They’re real, believable, vulnerable and so lovable. I just love the whole series.
- Lulo FanGirl, about ‘Fragile Reign’

I love the way Stacey O'Neale writes. She has a way of making you hold on and not stop reading. She writes in both Kalin and Rowan’s POV. With each chapter ending, it is like a mini cliffhanger.
- Kindle & Me, about ‘Fragile Reign’

I have to say, Stacey O'Neale really knows how to create characters that I love to hate; she gives her antagonists more depth than just being the enemy with an agenda. There's always more to them, with a deeper meaning - a reason for them to be the way that they are, like it's not their fault, they have to be this way and there's no other way around it. And these characters stick with me!
