The Sunday Post #12

http://caffeinatedbookreviewer.com/the-sunday-post-meme

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

This week was a quiet one. It was the end of my vacation so on Tuesday I had to work again. It didn’t really feel like I had been gone for a week, and it kind of bothered me to feel so tired after working only one day. Wednesday was another workday and I felt definitely more at ease being back there, than on Tuesday.
After work I had dinner with two girlfriends and later on we went to the musical ‘The Bodyguard’. (Yep, I went again!!) Even though I had already seen it, it was really good and I loved every minute of it.

Thursday and Friday were me two days off. I spend Thursday cleaning our home, which was very necessary. Although it was a lot of work, I felt very happy when it was done. Everything just looked so neat and shiny again. I spend the evening reading and in bed I watched the pilot episode of ‘Suits’. I really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to watching more episodes.

On Friday I went to see Batman vs Superman. I really enjoyed the movie and especially the looks of Superman… Sigh.. I hope there will be another movie real soon.. Cause I can't wait!!! :D

This weekend I had to work again which was kind of a bummer since the sun was finally shining.. But hopefully there will be many more sunny days.

And how was your week? Any good new books you started in?

  1. It really sucks to go back to work :(
But I'm glad you got to enjoy ‘The Bodyguard’ (again!) with your girls.
I wanted to take my kids to see Batman vs Superman but I heard it was looooong and get sloooow so I'm still unsure. Glad you enjoyed it though, especially Superman :-P

    1. Getting back to work really never gets easy! Sigh..
Batman vs Superman was definitely long, but it didn't really bother me. I really thought it was an awesome movie.

  2. Yay! Another person who enjoyed BVS. I didn't LOVE it, but I went in with such low expectations because of all the reviews prior to release. I didn't hate it. It wasn't flawless, but it wasn't nearly as terrible as everyone was claiming!

    Have a great week!

  3. It's always hard to come back from vacation. Glad you had a good week though- the musical sounds fun. Loved your bookstore post this week-all those would be on my list if I visit those respective countries! I think I might want to live at the 4 story Waterstones lol.

  5. It must've been weird to be back at your work again after your vacation. I am glad it was a bit easier again on Wednesday and you got to see a musical. Our house also could use a good cleaning, but we've been too busy lately to make time for cleaning. Although I did clean my desk yesterday, so hopefully we can get a few more things cleaned this week. I hope you'll have a great week!

    1. It definitely was weird getting back to work. Especially since I usually really enjoy my work and now I was only hoping time would go by faster so I could go home. Thankfully I'm feeling way better about it now.
Cleaning is definitely something I also am usually too busy for.. but unfortunately sometimes it just has to happen.
Good luck this week and thanks for stopping by ;)

  6. That first day back from vacation is always brutal! My house desperately needs some cleaning too but it's definitely tons of work. I'm better now that I've started using audio books while I clean but still! Glad you liked Batman vs Superman. I'm intrigued by it. Have a great week!

  7. Henry is awfully cute isn't he? I've seen him on some talk shows and he sounds smart and funny as well... which is a good thing.

Not sure I'll see the movie though!

Enjoy Suits and I hope you settle back into work (etc) in no time at all!

I would really like to see that one, although am not sure I'll get to see it in the theater. I would love to see the musical The Bodyguard! I love going to see musicals.
