The Sunday Post #27

http://caffeinatedbookreviewer.com/the-sunday-post-meme

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life:

Not much to mention this week. It was time to get back to work after our vacation on Monday. Unfortunately for me there was no slowly getting adjusted to work again. Nope.. The first two evening shifts, were pretty busy and I was exhausted after them.

On Thursday I had a teambuilding with the other team I work with. It was a lot of fun. We had to climb and run etc. I was one sweaty mess in the end. The day ended with a nice dinner.
Friday was already the last day of my work week and it was definitely a good day.

On Saturday I went to the Say Yes To The Dress Event with my mom and a friend. It was a lot of fun. Randy Fenoli came to Holland for this event and I really enjoyed meeting him and seeing the fashion shows. Al this wedding planning fun really is such a great experience. I’m loving any minute of it.
The day ended with drinks and dinner with our men. Good times!!

Books & Blogging:

Reading wise I had a good week. On Wednesday I had a day off and I spend it sitting on my balcony doing nothing but read and read and read. Sigh.. It was such a great day.

Blogging wise I also got ahead on my posts a little. That’s definitely a good thing!! And I managed to get my first new Holiday Themed book. Can’t wait to start reading this Holiday themed books again.

And not to forget.. This week the new Fifty Shades Darker trailer got out!! I'm super excited. Did you guys see it? I can't wait to see that movie, and to read the new second book from Christians point of view. Sigh..

How are you guys doing? Did you get your reading time?

  3. The cover for Midwinter looks lovely - but... I don't want to get there just yet! And a whole day of reading - bliss! I think the running and jumping day sounds fantastic - I'm steadily getting my fitness back after a decade of suffering from chronic sciatica, but I don't think I'm ready for such activities - yet:). Have a great week and many thanks for swinging by my site earlier.

  4. Sounds like you had a busy week back right after your vacation. It does sound like the teambuilding day was fun. And that's nice you got to attend the Say Yes To The Dress Event. And a day with only reading sure sounds nice, I can't remember the last time I did that. That holiday themed book you got looks nice. I saw some holiday themed books pop up on netgalley, but haven't requested any yet. Have a great week!

  5. Ooh, team-building...I always hated those, although we didn't have to climb and run. Just lots of interaction, of the uncomfortable and confrontational kind. LOL.

I hope you have a better week...and thanks for visiting my blog. Christmas Kiss looks delightful.

  6. Yay to wedding planning. I'm loosely planning mine. I say loosely because he hasn't proposed, but we're already making wedding plans for next year. We both want something super simple so it's easier to plan :)
    Your balcony looks so comfy!
I hope you have a great week!
