The Sunday Post #29

http://caffeinatedbookreviewer.com/the-sunday-post-meme

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life:

Well this week was definitely even busier than last week. I had to work five days in a row and the days were very long and very very busy. When I got home at night I was so tired I couldn’t stay awake for long and I found myself falling asleep with my book in my hands at least two nights.

On Friday when the weekend finally began.. I was so tired I couldn’t do anything but hang on the couch, read a little, and in the end watch a movie I had seen at least ten times before. Man.. I felt like an old lady. Thankfully we had a slow weekend planned and I could catch up on some sleep. I already feel so much better.

Books & Blogging:

So I didn’t get a lot of reading time in unfortunately. I did finish an audiobook I was listening to while I was driving to work, so that’s at least something. And thankfully tomorrow, Monday, I have the day off and I’m going to spend it blogging and reading. I definitely have to work on my Blog Ahead challenge.

How was your week? Did I miss anything in the book blogging world this week?

  1. I hate weeks like that. :) Hopefully you'll get more reading time this week. Heart Born looks interesting, I should try to listen to more audio.

  2. Oh I want to be in Kindergarten too!!! If only we didn't need to pay bills and earn a living and stuff!

I've had a few of those weeks... where I've been tired and not done much other than eat and go to bed!

  3. Can't think of a much better way to fall asleep than with a book in my hand. :-) Hope you were able to relax and enjoy your weekend.

    1. Well, I prefer reading them more than falling asleep with them! LOL. Especially since I didn't get to read more than two pages at a time I think.
      Happy Reading!

  4. I think I fall asleep every night with my book in my hands ;) This summer when we were moving I had the hardest time staying awake. I'd sit down at the end of the day with a book and crash. Hope you have a great week and are able to read more! Enjoy your new reads! Can't wait to read the new Nicholas Sparks book, hope you enjoy it :)

    1. Thanks Lillian. I hope you have a great week too.. I love Nicholas Sparks books.. the only bad thing is.. This one is so heavy and big that when I fall asleep with it in my hands I have serious risk of getting a contusion. :D:D
      Happy Reading!
