The Sunday Post #49: Back at Work

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ Its a chance to share news ~ A Post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life:

There’s not much to tell you guys about this week. I had to get back to work on Monday, and before I knew it I felt like my week vacation was long ago. Not in a bad way.
I worked Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday one of my girlfriends came by, and we watched two movies we used to watch a lot a view years back. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 1 and 2. I loved those movies, and the books were even better.

Thursday and Friday I had to work again, and on Friday night we had a little wedding planning date at my mom’s house. It was nice to check how far along we were with all the plans, and it was just a very nice evening.

Today, Saturday, I’m free from work and I went to the gym. this morning. Now I’m doing some catching up on my blog and tonight my man and I are having a movie night.
Tomorrow I have to work again. Busy, busy!!

Books & Blogging:

Somehow this week I felt like I didn’t have enough time. Thinking back on this week I honestly don’t know why I didn’t have more time and what I did do during the evenings?! But anyway, I didn’t get to visit you all this week. I also didn’t read as much as I wanted too. Strange really? What did I do? Hmmm.. Hopefully this week will be better. I plan to do a lot more reading!!

Ow.. and not to forget: My Three Year Blogiversary Giveaway ended this week and I picked my three winners. Thank you to all who visited and entered the giveaway!

  1. Sounds like a good week! And aww, a movie night sounds fun :-) Maybe you just needed a mental break from all the blogging and that's why you didn't get much done? Love that HP quote! Have a great week :-)

  3. I am glad you had a good week! It sound like the work was well rounded out by fun stuff on your off time. :-) Would you believe I have never see the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies? I really should give them a try.

I hope you have a great week, Maureen! Love the quote you shared. It's so true.

  8. My evenings also fly by! Of course, when I finally get home it can be anywhere from 5:00-8:00 these days, but even days like today when I got home around 5:30 I don't know where all the time went. With the few tasks (in number) I accomplished, I'd expect to have more time. I suppose they are just more time-consuming than I realize (or wish for). Your Friday wedding planning date sounds lovely! I hope you have a great week!

    1. Time is definitely a strange thing. I keep on thinking about ways I could end up with more time in the evenings, but I'm totally drawing a blank.
Have a great week Charlie and happy reading! ;)

  9. Why do vacations seem to pass even faster than 'normal' days? I hope you had a nice, relaxing week off, and that this week back at work was good, too.
Sorry I've been MIA all week... work and writing has taken up way too much of my time.
I hope you've enjoyed some new books this week.
